This sauce is pure joy in a bottle! The label describes it as “vibrant” and “slow-burning” and I think that description hits it home nicely. The taste is bright and fruity and particularly for non chiliheads or beginners the heat will be just perfectly balanced. The consistency is also mid-ranged. Sometimes I’d wish for it to be a little more stout, but that’s a minor quibble. Overall this is one of my favourite go-to sauces when it comes to taste. The ginger flavour really shines through without being overrepresented. The great thing about Scotch Bonnet & Ginger: it’s an everyday sauce that doesn’t taste casual at all! The very approachable heat level clearly works in service of the taste and it is incredibly delicious. A classic in my opinion.

Unfortunately not for me at all and have yet to find someone to disagree. Way too sour and bitter for my taste.
I use it in recipes, as a straight spicy sauce, the flavor is too overpowering and distracting.

A gem in my collection! Incredibly fruity but in a very refined way, delicate citrus notes, very well balanced. The heat builds up and lingers in the throat suprisingly long for a medium hot sauce, more on the hot side of medium hot, I would say. Might not be for you if you can´t stand ginger because it´s clearly coming through. Like it very much!

Really good all rounder

The flavour is mostly ginger and lime, which I should like. But I find it hard to combine with other flavours without overpowering or clashing with them.

An excellent sauce! Very tasty. Works great with fish, eggs and even salad. Absolutely loved it.

This was my first Queen Majesty product and it lived up to expectations. It is a nicely balanced sauce, with a reasonable amount of heat, but, more importantly, a sauce where you can taste the different flavours like ginger and lime. I’ve tried it on its own, on pasta, in soups and on different types of meats. My preference would be to use this on meat dishes but, quite honestly, it goes well with everything where you want to add more heat, but also a citrusy freshness overall. Works well with Asian food too.

Until the time of this review this was the best sauce I’ve ordered from this website, so much flavour and it kicks just the right way. If you like sauces do yourself a favor and just try this one, you’ll probably not going to regret it.

The content of my bottle has a more yellow/green tone and it’s true, this is quite the flavor bomb, there is heat but it’s not overpowering, only had this on cheese toast so far, but I can’t imagine anything not tasting great with this sauce on it.
Top note is likely the scotch bonnet, then there’s lingering ginger, some acidity and sweetness, I kinda get the love for jerk chicken now.
