The herb is very aromatic and has a nutty flavor with notes of anise and fennel. It’s not overpowering at all, as the apple and dates provide a deliciously sweet taste while the Habanero adds a fresh and fruity flavor that also packs the necessary heat. Lemon and vinegar give the finishing touch with a nice tanginess. Really delicious in typical autumn dishes and stews, but also fantastic in a summer salad or with grilled vegetables.
