This El Jefe Limited Edition Jamaican Hot Chocolate Pepper Sauce is a single batch hot sauce from Amsterdam. At the start of every season, the growers of El Jefe select a special pepper as the pepper of the season an this year that is the Jamaican Hot Chocolate Habanero. After harvest they are pickled in a brine for over 90 days and after that they are mashed to be the base of this special hot sauce. They add fitting ingredients to the sauce, like allspice, cocoa powder, mango and spring onion. It creates a Caribbean jerk-style hot sauce that, you wouldn’t guess it, tastes amazing with your favorite Caribbean dishes.
