Delivery of our orders to customers will continue during the corona crisis

The Dutch government took extra measures to fight the explosive rise of the corona virus last weekend. This raises a lot of questions among the people, because it’s a little unclear as to what is still possible and what not. For example: will my Heatsupply order still be delivered? Since we use PostNL for the delivery, you can read their statement about the issue down below.

Message from PostNL

For PostNL, the health and safety of employees, customers and partners is of paramount importance. As such, we are closely monitoring developments regarding the coronavirus, taking precautionary measures as needed, in accordance with general guidelines and instructions from the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and other authorities.

Delivery

The coronavirus cannot be transmitted via contact with mail and parcels; normal service will therefore continue.

Coronavirus containment

We are taking precautionary measures to prevent further spread of the virus so that our employees can work in a safe environment; prevention focuses on increased hygiene and personal contact in accordance with RIVM guidelines.

Additional preparations

We are preparing for various scenarios so that normal service can continue in the event of elevated risk. Again, the health and safety of our employees, customers and partners is first and foremost on our minds.

Shipments abroad

Shipments abroad will also continue, but delays can occur. For an overview of destinations with delay you can go to this page.

Like PostNL says, transmission of the virus can’t occur via the packages and the delivery of packages will continue.  That means you can still order your favorite hot sauces right here.
